3.83 for a mortgage? 15 yr.: Mortgage rates drop AGAIN

Mortgage rates fall yet again :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Personal Finance:
"The average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate loan was 4.32 percent this week, down from 4.36 percent last week, mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said Thursday. That's the lowest since Freddie Mac began tracking rates in 1971; the last time home loan rates were lower was during the 1950s, when most mortgages lasted 20 or 25 years.

The average rate on 15-year fixed loan dropped to 3.83 percent"
