Political Economy - Connecticut halts all foreclosures for all banks

NOTE: Didn't I say earlier today that I doubt this is going to do a lot other than temporary fix? The politicians are already making room for a remedy... for CHEATING, STEALING and perpetrating FRAUD upon Courts and they will find a remedy. Like the one GMAC did for us...... no extension of sale, just refiled an affadivit and continue on like nothing happened with a Federal court judge's blessing. Yup that helps a lot.

Political Economy - Connecticut halts all foreclosures for all banks: "But Connecticut is the first to institute an industry-wide ban.

in Connecticut, Blumenthal said in a statement that he is investigating J.P. Morgan Chase and Ally, formerly GMAC, which is the recipient of a $17 billion federal bailout and majority-owned by the U.S. Treasury, as well as other lenders.

He said the actions of J.P. Morgan and Ally are a 'possible fraud on the court undermining the integrity of the legal process and consumers' ability to fight foreclosures.

'This freeze should stop a foreclosure steamroller based on defective documents and enable effective remedies,' Blumenthal said."

The only person I know who has demonstrated a THOROUGH understanding of the foreclosure mess is this guy

and he's running for Dodd's Senate seat

Neither Blumenthal nor McMahon have the experience necessary to effect any real change. I've done a lot of research on this. I'm still registered as a Republican but I see no worthy candidates to my right nor my left. I'm not only supporting Warren Mosler for Senate in Connecticut I'm a volunteer in his campaign.

Stormy that is similar to our situation.. I dont' trust any of the politicians locally. Our libertarian candidate seems to get it and I'll be putting out a last minute blurb for him later today and tomorrow.

I hope many visit your site and get out the word to friends to vote.

We have got to take back this country and make it more accountable to the people. It is a joke to think that the people are the government...
